First Financial - Downtown Cincinnati

K4 Architecture and Design was in the process of creating a new flagship location for First Financial Bank at the corner of 4th and Vine in downtown Cincinnati. The space was envisioned as a hybrid—part office, part public gathering area, and part traditional bank—designed to welcome and serve people from all walks of life, each engaging with the space in their own way.

After seeing one of our recent installations, the architects reached out to Urban Blooms to bring the impact of a living wall to this dynamic environment. Though the wall was a late addition to the original design, our engineers collaborated closely with K4 and the contractors to seamlessly integrate the necessary plumbing and lighting into the existing plans.

Standing at 16 by 12 feet and featuring approximately 200 living plants, the wall introduces a vibrant touch of nature into this high-traffic urban space. With its diverse array of plant species and sizes, this installation is designed to inspire and connect, offering a moment of calm and beauty for everyone who passes through.
