Biophilic design has been used in architecture and interior design for centuries. Elements of it can be found in houses, restaurants, community centers, government buildings, and religious structures all around the world. While biophilic design is not a new concept, it has become a hot topic in recent years due to the growing awareness that the design of the structures we spend the majority of our time in has a strong effect on us.
