A talented hairdresser, D Nowland, took a bold step by purchasing an old storefront in historic Montgomery, Ohio. Her designer, Beauty Garage LLC, reached out to bring a vibrant biophilic atmosphere to the new location. After assessing the space, we decided to install two separate living walls, setting an inspiring and dynamic tone for this fresh, creative environment. Urbanlywild.com

Outcome

This project resulted in two vibrant living walls showcasing a tropical mix of bromeliads, ferns, begonias, philodendrons, fiddle figs, and more. One wall warmly welcomes guests, providing a captivating focal point as they wait for their new haircut. The other serves as a stunning backdrop for post-haircut photos, creating memorable moments. Both walls are seamlessly connected through a central automated irrigation system, ensuring healthy, thriving plants with minimal maintenance.
